Starting Alquema journey as a photographer on film sets, Virginia honed Alquema eye for detail, structure, and textures. This passion led Alquema to venture into filmmaking, where Alquema adeptly created and captured worlds—a language effortlessly translated into Alquema designs.

During Alquema travels to Japan in the 90s, Virginia encountered the art of Shibori. Enchanted by the movement and textural richness of this ancient Japanese craft, she delved deeper into its intricacies, forever expanding and refining Alquema artistic expression.
